This litigation relates to Instrument Panel Clusters purchased directly from a Defendant.

Instrument Panel Clusters, also known as meters, generally are defined as the mounted array of instruments and gauges housed in front of the driver of a motor vehicle, as well as their respective components, modules, and assemblies for which they are a component.

You were previously notified of the existence of this class action, the nature of the Plaintiff’s claims, and settlements with the Nippon Seiki and Yazaki Defendants. The Court has granted final approval to each of those settlements and has approved Plaintiffs’ proposed plan for distribution of the net settlement proceeds attributable to those settlements. Plaintiff has now reached a settlement with the DENSO Defendants totaling $100,000. The Court has preliminarily approved the settlement and has provisionally certified the Settlement Class. To see documents related to the DENSO settlement click here.

If you purchased Instrument Panel Cluster Products in the United States directly from any of the Defendants during the period from January 1, 1998 through December 27, 2016, you may be a member of the DENSO Settlement Class. To receive your share of the DENSO settlement fund you must either have previously submitted a valid Claim Form in connection with the prior settlements identified above, or you must submit a valid Claim Form postmarked no later than March 18, 2022. If you previously submitted a Claim Form in the Instrument Panel Clusters case in connection with the Nippon Seiki and Yazaki settlements, you should not file a new Claim Form unless you wish to include additional purchases during the relevant class period that were not included in your prior submission(s).
